In 2008 the Lawrence Memorial United Methodist Women and the Women of the Church made Chrismons to be used on the Christmas tree in the church. Chrismons are handmade Christmas tree ornaments with various symbols of Christianity. The church still uses them on the tree. Here is a picture of the tree as it appears now and the first ornament we will be sharing and explaining this season. You can find more information about Chrismons on the United Methodist site by clicking here. We hope you will visit us and enjoy the tree with us. Hope you will visit us so you can enjoy viewing the Chrismons Christmas tree in person. If you are unable to visit during the season know you are welcome to visit all year!

The Triquetra is one of many symbols depicting the trinity – this one from Great Britain. The three points represent Father, Son and Holy Spirit while the continuous interwoven line represents unity.
